Tenían todas ellas en común un gran interés por conocer a fondo la historia de la ciudad y el deseo imperecedero de conservar su memoria. Para aquellos que no conocen o no recuerdan esta historia ha reconstruido su génesis basada en los varios testimonios que han dejado por escrito algunos de sus protagonistas.
