| Summary, etc. | "La contaduría forense es una especialidad de la cual no se conoce con exactitud su origen y que al acontecer del tiempo ha cobrado gran importancia, debido al papel que cumple en la detención de delito dentro de entidades públicas y privadas sacando, a la luz numerosos fraudes que han constituido perdidas a nivel económico, social y humano en la historia de la humanidad, Y es la función principal del contador forense el aportar material probatorio y servir como testigo ante los procesos litigiosos que vinculen a una entidad determinada, ha sido comn en el transcurrir del tiempo vincular el termino forense directamente con la criminalística pero si tenemos en cuenta el diccionario de la Real Academia Española, donde indica que el vocablo forense se deriva del latín forensis, que viene de fórum, foro o plaza pública, y la Enciclopedia Salvat (1) que define foro como "plaza del mercado en las antiguas ciudades romanas, donde se celebraban las asambleas políticas y los juicios, de acuerdo a esta definición se logra esclarecer el significado del término forense y el vínculo que tiene con la contaduría.." |
