Summary, etc. La hoja de tabaco seco, se utiliza desde hace 2000 a 3000 años A.C; tiempo en que primitivos quemaron hojas de tabaco provocando olores emitidos por dicha planta produciendo efectos nocivos en ellos. La historia del cigarrillo en nuestro continente se destaca, el dia 28 de octubre de 1492 siendo una fecha en la que Colon llego a America, Ese dia Colon y sus naves llegaron a la costa noreste de la isla de Cuba ,Sin embargo, el proceso de aparicion y de algunas valoraciones del consumo de tabaco y su composicion desde periodos de vida pasados existio, en los que el cigarrillo pudo llamarse y tratarse de forma diferente ya que tenia un valor significativo diferente al actual; porque atraves de su uso, este pudo ser manipulado por diferentes etnias y religiones como instrumento de placer social. Ademas, la planta ya se habia extendido por todo el continente y casi todas las tribus y naciones de America habian tenido contacto con el tabaco y tenian con el una relacion mas o menos intensa.
