Summary, etc. "Las lesiones dentarias no cariosas son el resultado de la pérdida patológica de tejido dentario que no es mediada por mecanismos bacterianos, sino que se asocian a procesos como desgaste friccional (atrición y abrasión), a disolución dental (erosión) y a las constantes fuerzas físicas ejercidas durante la masticación (Abfracción). Sin embargo, aun sabiendo la complejidad y frecuencia de este tipo de lesiones, no se toman las medidas adecuadas para prevenirlas, lo que hace que sean muy comunes incluso en estudiantes de odontología."
