| Summary, etc. | Desde que Buonocore, en 1955, introdujo el concepto de tratar el esmalte para alterar quimicamente sus caracteristicas superficiales y permitir la adhesion de los materiales restauradores a la superficie de esmalte dentario, la odontologia adhesiva ha cambiado y evolucionado rapidamente. Esto se debe al hecho de que se requiere la adhesion para oponerse y soportar las fuerzas de contracción durante la polimerizacion de la resina compuesta y para promover una mejor retencion e integridad marginal durante el funcionamiento de la pieza dentaria restaurada. |
