| Summary, etc. | La patología de LPH (labio paladar hendido), afecta a una parte de la población infantil mundial y se ha acrecentado al pasar del tiempo, estas condiciones congénitas predispuestas y detectadas desde el embarazo; genera complicaciones a través de su crecimiento, esta afectación se genera por muchos factores que permiten su desarrollo. En Colombia, más de 1.000 niños al año padecen esta condición. La calidad de la salud de estas personas y recursos económicos, son muy bajos para poder detectar y tratar esta patología desde la gestación. El manejo desde los conocimientos generados en el aprendizaje de los laboratoristas dentales es muy vago y conlleva a casi un total de desconocimiento de esta condición en la cual podemos contribuir a su manejo y mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas que la padecen. |
