Summary, etc. La puesta en marcha de la presente monografía tiene como objetivo analizar los avances y desafíos en la garantía del derecho humano al acceso al agua potable en las comunidades afro e indígenas del Departamento del Chocó durante el año 2024. Se busca identificar las acciones implementadas por el Estado y los gobiernos locales, así como el papel de las comunidades en la gestión del recurso hídrico, evaluando su efectividad en términos de cobertura, calidad, sostenibilidad y equidad. Este estudio permitirá evidenciar el cumplimiento de las obligaciones internacionales en materia de derechos humanos, especialmente aquellas relacionadas con el acceso al agua como un derecho fundamental para la vida y la dignidad humana.
