En vez de emplear documentos físicos para documentar y distribuir los pagos a los trabajadores, la nómina electrónica emplea tecnología digital para generar, validar y almacenar la información relacionada con los salarios, deducciones y aportes de los trabajadores. Esta modalidad busca optimizar los procesos laborales, garantizar el cumplimiento de las obligaciones tributarias y fiscales, y reducir los costos operativos en las empresas."
