Granada (Antioquia) es un municipio emblemático de la guerra y de la paz. Desde mediados de los años ochenta fue escenario de una cruenta disputa por el control de un territorio estratégico para la expansión militar, de la puja por la humanización del conflicto armado y la realización de diálogos de paz regional; y del despliegue militar que acompaña la política de Seguridad Democrática. Gracias a estas dinámicas, Granada fue un territorio, casi literalmente, devastado por la guerra. Sin embargo, no sucumbió! y no lo hizo gracias a la capacidad de su gente y sus instituciones, quienes después de sortear la guerra debieron emprender rápidamente un proceso de reconstrucción física y social que hoy tiene como eje el reconocimiento de las víctimas y la memoria colectiva. Este informe describe a Granada como un caso emblemático de las dinámicas de la guerra y, al mismo tiempo, de resistencia y dignidad. En un contexto en el que en el país se pone en primer plano de la agenda nacional la urgencia de una salida política negociada al conflicto armado, la necesidad de avanzar en caminos de paz y reconciliación y de reivindicar la memoria como un recurso para la verdad, el reconocimiento y la reparación, mirar hacia Granada es profundamente aleccionador. |
