| Summary, etc. | Desde el 2007, la Corte Constitucional ha venido igualando los derechos de las parejas homosexuales a los de las heterosexuales, Los homosexuales tienen la posibilidad de adoptar, pero no como unidad familiar. En el futuro, podrán hacerlo como familia del hijo biológico. Las parejas conformadas por personas del mismo sexo, no sólo han fijado un precedente notorio en materia de reconocimiento, sino que avanzan protagonicamente en la conquista de ser adoptadas como verdaderos núcleos familiares. A pesar de que la Corte Constitucional ha despejado algunos conceptos que resultaban polémicos para este tipo de uniones con fundamento en el artículo 13 de la Constitución, no ha sido lo suficientemente clara al limitarse a exhortar al Congreso de la República para legislar sobre esta materia en un plazo de dos años, sin establecer criterios vigentes respecto al tema. |
