"El aumento de las alteraciones financieras y el fraude han hecho que la auditoria forense sea una de las ramas de la auditoria con un desarrollo más rápido y evidente, lo que requiere de la colaboración de los profesionales de la Contaduría en los procedimientos regulatorios. De manera que, el proceso es de naturaleza legal y se aplica principalmente en acontecimientos que generen delitos de índole financiero en la organización, debido a una quiebra o quiebra empresarial, las organizaciones requieren de los servicios de auditores forenses para prevenir, detectar e indagar sobre las diferentes faltas. La auditoría forense implica la utilización de herramientas de investigación criminal, compuestas por conocimientos contables, legales y procesales, así como destrezas financieras y comerciales para presentar información e ideas, testificar y prestar evidencia en el tribunal. Por ello, el análisis resultante puede utilizarse para la resolución de diversos tipos de disputas sin necesidad de jurisdicción." |
