| Summary, etc. | "El presente proyecto de investigación se realiza bajo el enfoque de competitividad en que cuentan las pequeñas y medianas empresas del sector hotelero en la ciudad de Cartagena, el turismo se constituye en un sector referente en la economía mundial gracias a las altas tasas de crecimiento que ha venido experimentando a lo largo de los últimos años; este sector también se caracteriza por ser bastante vulnerable frente a cualquier crisis que le afecta directamente. La drástica reducción de afluencia de visitantes, así como la cancelación delas reservas en los hoteles para hospedaje o eventos, ha causado un gran impacto en la economía del sector hotelero, a más de esto la tasa de desempleo ha aumentado debido a la pérdida de empleo temporal o definitiva ante el cierre de los establecimientos por la falta de actividad. El presente documento, busca comparar con periodos anteriores los cambios que se han presentado en el sector y así mismo evidenciarlos efectos que tiene la situación actual por la pandemia del COVID-19.." |
