Summary, etc. La superación de violaciones masivas de Derechos Humanos [DDHH], asimismo, el paso de la no democracia a un sistema democrático o la culminación de un conflicto armado para el alcance de la paz y la reconciliación, de acuerdo con distintas experiencias en países y comunidades se logra con la promoción y aplicación de mecanismos (judiciales o no) de la denominada justicia transicional. En estos contextos debe promoverse la justicia para que se investigue los hechos y se sancione a quienes los cometieron, igualmente, la satisfacción de los derechos de las víctimas a la reparación, el conocer la verdad de lo ocurrido y las garantías de no retición, son pilares fundamentales exigibles cuando se acude a un mecanismo excepcional de proceder para dar respuesta a situaciones también excepcionales y de alto impacto en la sociedad.
