| Summary, etc. | El sistema de transporte público colectivo en Cartagena, como en muchas de las ciudades latinoamericanas, es hoy el resultado de una dinámica de carácter "informal", es decir que no se organizó originalmente bajo la tutela de organismos oficiales. Si bien desde los años 80 se inicia en la ciudad el proceso de legalización de la prestación del servicio en lo que respecta a la red de buses urbanos, las características que esta presenta indican que el sistema sigue funcionando sin la debida planificación y control de parte de las autoridades locales. -- Introducción. |
