Summary, etc. Este trabajo analiza tres tipos de racionalidad. la primera, la racionalidad instrumental, ha sido expuesta, analizada y criticada en detalle por mas de un autor, hasta tal punto que a menudo se la ha confundido con la idea misma de racionalidad. por eso, el autor se basa en la versión mas estándar de este tipo de racionalidad para mostrar su insipiencia para dilucidar la idea de un seguidor de normas jurídicas. la segunda, la racionalidad en sentido débil, tan solo había sido presentada de una forma general en los trabajos de Amartya Sen. aquí el autor ha tratado de ofrecer una propuesta mas desarrollada y compacta de los apuntes que Sen había realizado. el aporte de este trabajo consiste en un desarrollo armónico de la racionalidad en sentido débil y de sus exigencias. sin embargo llega a mostrar que este tipo de racionalidad también es insuficiente para dar cuenta de algunos aspectos del seguidor de normas jurídicas.
