Summary, etc.	La cirugía mínimamente invasiva es la nueva aportación quirúrgica en el tratamiento de distintas patologías, como trastornos congénitos, degenerativos, tumorales o traumáticos. Estas nuevas técnicas varían desde actuaciones percutáneas o microquirúrgicas a endoscópicas. Es indudable que, a partir de los años 70, la microcirugía supuso el gran avance en todos los tipos de tratamiento de la patología vertebral, con resultados claramente superiores a los tratamientos convencionales que conllevaban un mayor sufrimiento de los tejidos.
