Summary, etc. "la biofísica es una ciencia interdisciplinaria que estudia la biología a partir de principios, leyes y métodos de física. La biofísica médica se enfoca en los procesos involucrados en la fisiología, la fisiopatología y los usos de las ondas mecánicas y electromagnéticas como métodos de diagnóstico y tratamiento médico. Este texto, dirigido a estudiantes de medicina, ingeniería biomédica y ciencias naturales, tiene como objetivo fundamental fortalecer la comprensión acerca de algunos procesos biofísicos que ocurren en los sistemas vivientes. Está integrado por tres unidades que contienen talleres y problemas de análisis para facilitar la comprensión de las temáticas generales: biomecánica musculoesquelética y cardiorrespiratoria, bioelectricidad neuronal y electroquímica y procesos ondulatorios y radiactividad.
