Summary, etc. La problemática que se aborda en el presente libro, es el resultado de un proceso de investigación, relacionado con el conflicto escolar y la forma como se resuelve en el interior de las Instituciones educativas en el Distrito Turístico y Cultural de Riohacha. En este sentido, se tiene en cuenta que los conflictos forman parte de las relaciones humanas y que las instituciones escolares no deben estar ajenas a los mismos. Por tal razón, la Universidad de la Guajira no es indiferente a uno de los problemas de mayor relevancia que actualmente se viene evidenciando en las instituciones educativas, haciendo referencia a la violencia escolar entre los estudiantes, la cual afecta la convivencia en el ambiente escolar con consecuencias para la integridad física, psicológica, académica de los actores involucrados, extendiéndose a su familia y al entorno donde se desenvuelve el escolar.
