Es decir, la de aquello que por estar permanentemente frente a los ojos termina volviéndose invisible. Este libro es un pequeño manual introductorio surgido de la necesidad de desplegar el concepto de cultura y de brindar ejemplos claros de sus muchas interpretaciones y resonancias. Tal objetivo supone, sin embargo, aventurarse en muchos de los difíciles y a veces desconocidos territorios por lo que las ciencias sociales avanzan a menudo tumultuosamente, lo cual dificulta los ordenamientos posibles. Porque el concepto de cultura abre una dimensión transdisciplinaria que pone en contacto, tensión y conflicto la sociología y la historia la semiótica y la antropología, la filosofía y el psicoanálisis.
