Summary, etc. La globalización, sostiene un antropólogo, es el ultimo rostro del capitalismo (García Canclini, 1999: 184), y tiene que ver con la tesis de que todos vivimos ahora en un mismo mundo. La idea fuerte que sostiene a esta tesis es la interdependencia y la extremada sensibilidad entre todos los aspectos, regiones, fenómenos y procesos que tiene lugar en el mundo, de tal suerte que ninguno tiene lugar sin afectar, directa o indirectamente, inmediata o mediatizadamanete, a otros procesos, regiones, fenómenos y aspectos. No sin razón, el énfasis mayor en los estudios y preocupaciones sobre los fenómenos de globalización tiene connotaciones económicas.
